Kenneth Long, the 14th president of East Stroudsburg University, will be inaugurated on April 27.
The theme of his historic inauguration is “Creating Opportunities: Community, Engagement and Belonging.”
Long is the first African American president of the university. He was appointed to the role in November. Long replaces Dr. Marcia G. Welsh, who retired.
The inauguration will be held at 10 a.m. in the Abeloff Center for the Performing Arts at ESU.
