Luzerne County Head Start on Friday recognized fathers and the important role they play in their children’s education. The organization participated in the national Million Fathers March, and at Luzerne County Community College, the dads and their children danced.

Children who attend Luzerne County Head Start now have the opportunity to use a sensory room. The project was made possible by the Leadership Northeast 2024 class.

16 high school seniors from Luzerne and Wyoming Counties were given scholarships from the Head Start Alumni Scholarship Program.
