Pennsylvania 2026 Primary

The 2026 primary election is over and now the general election campaign season begins. It was an interesting primary here in Northeast Pennsylvania. WVIA politics reporter Borys Krawczeniuk joins Sarah Scinto in the WVIA podcast studio to break down the results and look ahead to November.

Voters approved a Williamsport government study commission to examine recommendations on a home rule charter. Its recommendations would then be presented to the public for review and a final vote in 2027.

Your request for an absentee or mail-in ballot must be received by your county election office by 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 12.
