Pittston Tomato Festival

The Pittston Tomato Festival, an annual celebration of the fruit often confused for a vegetable, is on this weekend. And Miss Pennsylvania stopped by Luzerne County Community College ahead of the Miss America competition.

Events this weekend include Pittston’s annual celebration of the red juicy fruit thought of as a vegetable, an arts festival in Bloomsburg and a 5K at a winery in the Poconos.

The festival brings hungry visitors to downtown Pittston every year.
