Students at West Scranton High School now have a place to grieve classmates gone too soon, like Rose Hernandez, who would have graduated this year.

Rose Hernandez should be graduating from West Scranton High School next week. Instead, family and friends gathered Wednesday to unveil a statue that will serve as a place to grieve her and any student gone too soon.

Scranton police are expected to add a criminal homicide against Joseph Garcia, 18, already accused and imprisoned in the vehicle death of his girlfriend, Rose Hernandez, 18, on Monday.
