The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport has narrowed its search for an executive director to replace Carl Beardsley Jr. to seven candidates.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport organized a drive to collect food, gift cards, pet food, toiletries and household supplies to aid TSA agents working without pay for six weeks.

Carl Beardsley Jr. led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport to new heights. He won't be returning to work so the airport will seek a new leader.
