Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at thousands of locations in all 50 states across the US, at sea, and abroad.   Over the weekend Hanover Green Cemetery near Wilkes-Barre participated, welcoming local dignitaries and volunteers from Girl Scouts of the USA and Holy Redeemer High School. The ceremony started with a wreath laying and the playing of each military branch's song. The wreaths are not laid in memory of veterans, but to honor them for the holidays.
