Day of Service scheduled at ESU
East Stroudsburg University will hold its ninth annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
This year’s event is co-sponsored by the Monroe County NAACP. It will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. in Common Grounds, inside the University Center.
ESU will team up with Nurse-Family Partnership. The organization empowers first-time mothers to transform their lives and create better futures for themselves and their babies by providing them with support. Donations of new and unused baby items and self-care items for new mothers can be brought to Day of Service. Students will also make affirmation cards and magnets for new mothers.
