Earth Conservancy is seeking artists to design the cover of a packet of native plant seeds. The pouches will replace other promotional items, like pens, that the nonprofit typically gives out at conferences and educational events.

The nonprofit plans to hand out the seed packets at conferences and educational events to encourage native plant growth.

16 high school seniors from Luzerne and Wyoming Counties were given scholarships from the Head Start Alumni Scholarship Program.

Matt Bayzick named his farm Lair del Falco after he saw hawks flying overhead. Now, it will stay farmland for generations to come.
