Milford Lions Club

Since the 1930s a star has illuminated the knob overlooking the Milford Borough. In 2017, the National Park Service removed it. This year, the Pike County community and federal representatives worked together to restore the star ahead of the country’s semiquincentennial Saturday.

Pike County and the community worked together along with the federal government to restore the iconic beacon, which will blaze again on the Fourth of July.
