Hundreds of North Pocono-area residents attended a zoning board hearing about a challenge to Clifton Twp.'s zoning ordinance that now includes data centers.

At the end of a four-hour meeting Thursday night, Covington Twp. supervisors approved an ordinance change to allow data centers in the rural Lackawanna County community.

ICE says a federal immigration judge said Nasario Damian Contreras, 45, had to go back to his native Mexico in February 2023, but he opened and operated three Lackawanna County restaurants.
