A vote to reconsider Luzerne County's anti-discrimination ordinance was originally on the agenda for this week's council meeting, but county council decided to wait until a challenge to the petition that called for the vote is settled.

Action Together NEPA and a group of Luzerne County residents filed a request to review the petition seeking to repeal the county's anti-discrimination ordinance.

The Clerk of County Council has verified more than 15,000 signatures on a petition seeking to repeal Luzerne County's anti-discrimination ordinance.
