The Recovery in Nature initiative encourages Pennsylvanians, especially those living with substance use disorder, to get outside and take advantage of the healing power of nature during National Recovery Month.

September is National Recovery Month, and members of Wyoming/ Sullivan Counties’ treatment court celebrated a milestone in their recoveries during their graduation Thursday evening in Tunkhannock.

Restorative Roots Recovery owns the only licensed male recovery houses in Luzerne County. While the owners have plans to grow, the federal government looks to shrink funding for recovery services.
