Thanksgiving

The school bus rolled along streets in Forest City, its passengers ready to deliver Thanksgiving. With unprecedented need in the community, the bus had never stopped so much. Each stop on Monday offered a chance for gratitude, as Forest City Regional students continued an annual tradition.

Friends of the Poor and the Catherine McAuley Center have combined forces. The announcement was made Wednesday.

A group of people from across faiths shared a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner ahead of the holiday during the Scranton Area Ministerium’s Multifaith Thanksgiving Celebration.
