Across Northeast and Central Pennsylvania, memories from Sept. 11, 2001 still feel raw. Today, we have the stories of people in our region whose lives changed that day.

This fall, multiple arts and cultural events are coming to the historic Scranton Iron Furnaces, with the 'Fall at the Furnaces' event series starting Saturday, Sept. 12.

The Connell Park Walking Club began three years ago. On Saturday the group will take its 100th walk through the park in South Scranton.

Valley in Motion is doing a feasibility study to create a roughly half-mile path from Connell Park to the state forest.

Students cut the ribbon at the first of three planned schoolyard transformations in Scranton. The space at John F. Kennedy Elementary School will be open to the public after school.
