A unique yoga event on a Scranton rooftop, a Fourth of July parade in Montrose, a race in Wilkes-Barre and so much more are planned for this holiday weekend.

There will be lots of booms and flashes of color in skies across Northeast and Central Pennsylvania this 4th of July.

Study manager Steve Barber outlined the potential trail during a public meeting Wednesday evening in Jessup. He warned against thinking the trail would happen soon. The project will need permission from landowners, an operator and money for a more detailed study and construction

Frozen treats are being scooped, blended and topped to support local emergency services in Lackawanna County. Ice Cream Rescue is a concession stand with a cause. It’s parked outside Jessup Hose Company on Hill Street in the borough everyday until Saturday.
