As police continue to investigate who fired into an unoccupied Pike County mosque early Sunday, mosque worshippers got a boost from someone who knows about being attacked. Gov. Josh Shapiro visited the mosque Wednesday.

U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan brought Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz to tour the recently sold Scranton hospitals and speak with new leadership about their plans.

Mehmet Oz joined U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan in Scranton Friday to discuss health care, and the Rural Health Transformation Fund, a provision in Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill that will give $50 billion to states over five years.

Trump is scheduled to appear at Mount Airy Casino Resort at 6 p.m. Tuesday, U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan's office confirmed Friday evening. The Pennsylvania Republican Party also confirmed the visit and offered additional details.
