A Short History of Harvey's Lake

Benjamin Harvey was a militia man during the American Revolution. On his way back from prison at Fort Niagara NY he discovered a large body of water, which was named after him. For many generations, Harvey's Lake was one of the major attractions for the people of the Wyoming valley where they went to swim, fish and enjoy the many attractions it had to offer.
