The Legend of French Azilum

During the French Revolution, a group of men loyal to the King decided they wanted to save the Queen, Marie Antionette and her two children. Escaping to America, they chose a place in the wilderness to build what was known as La Grande Maison to house the Queen and her family. It was located on a bend in the Susquehanna river located in Bradford county in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
