WVIA News Managing EditorManaging editor Faith Golay joined WVIA News in February 2024, bringing more than 30 years of experience to the news editor position. Faith is responsible for overseeing the content and operations of the news department team, including production and news publication for WVIA News. She plays a key role in shaping the digital/audio/video presence and overall voice of the WVIA News Team.
Under her direction, the WVIA News Team has been recognized on national and state stages with journalism awards from Public Media Journalists Association, Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters and Keystone Professional Media Awards, organized by the Pennsylvania Newsmedia Association. The journalism highlighted produced engaging storytelling through the voices of the community, focusing on culture, diversity, public safety, veterans, business, healthcare and comprehensive beat coverage for education in Northeast and Northcentral Pennsylvania.
