Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health, announced the opening of Lehigh Valley Health Network-Dunmore as part of the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute this month.
The center, located at 1010 O’Neil Highway in Dunmore, will provide orthopedics and sports medicine, podiatry, injury care, rehabilitation and cardiac services.
Patients can walk in for orthopedic, injury care and EKG testing without appointments.
The center will open in what a health system spokesperson called a 'phased approach.' The spokesperson said the center is likely to be fully opened in October.

“Opening LVHN–Dunmore is the first of many comebacks for the Scranton community. We are deeply grateful for your support and confidence in us during this time of rebuilding,” said Thomas Graham, the chief of Jefferson Orthopedics and physician in chief of Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute.
The new center opens months after a fire at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Dickson City destroyed the hospital’s orthopedic institute.
