    The Cougars bested the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks twice this week to secure the Division III national baseball title. The Luzerne County college plans to celebrate on Friday after the team returns from Ohio.

    Baseball clubhouse in South Scranton gets needed upgrades

    The clubhouse at the South Scranton Little League hasn’t changed much over the past 30 years. The Lackawanna County Chapter of the Little League Challenger Division has a 99-year lease at the field. They’re about to upgrade the clubhouse for the better. The bathrooms will become ADA compliant and a privacy room will be added to help accommodate the baseball players with special needs.
